I found a bug:
Sometimes the player (or murphy) can catch gems that falling from
top onto the player (murphy)
but sometimes not. It's curious!
Either when the player moves upon to the
gem that's falling he catches it or he will
die.
Maybe it could be considered as a feature
Sometimes it happens also that you can deflect (change the direction of) a monster, without getting killed. Master this technique and you could be awarded with a Golden Rockford for the Solution Tapes!
Yes, there are a whole lot of such "quirks" in the R'n'D engine. :-o
You can use some of them to "cheat" when solving levels.
If you build new levels, think carefully if you require the player to use such "tricks" to solve the level. It's not "forbidden" to do so, but probably a good idea to tell the player in the first level using an envelope than "engine tricks" are needed to solve a level. For the "normal" players, levels should also provide a solution which does not need these tricks/quirks/bugs. :-)

Don't panic. ;-)
If I should ever fix such "quirks" (which might happen), I will always provide a compatibility switch to enable/disable the old/new behaviour. :-)
Therefore, such an initial envelope is always a good idea, as the default behaviour of the R'n'D engine differs from version to version (as it already does since many versions), due to bugfixes and corrections.
