I myself wanted France to win, because all my friends at work wanted Italy to win, so I was messing with them I don't care much about it, really..
Especially one of my friends is totally Italian-crazy... especially when it comes to italian guys...*sigh* girls, you know how they are...
Cool, we got it!
I am very happy, not for me, but for those players among the italian team who really gave their best in order to gain this championship.
St. Buffon saved us from Zidane's "head penalty", and Trezeguet did the rest
That's all right, we had to take revenge on France, as they pulled us out of the last world championship, as well as from the european championship. Now we are again one step behind Brazil - as for World Cups - and into four years we'll delete the gap
IMHO, Germany vs Italy has been one of the most exciting matches of all the championship.

Yeah, joke, joke.
I now.
Germany is not bad.
(Well, I'm allowed to say that,
I'm from Germany!)
But Germany is not as good as Italy!!
BTW: I think you would say that
too, you don't live in Germany!
The German guys thought, their
team would of course win the world
cup! And I think you heard, that the German fans in the
Game Italy vs Germany booed the Italian team!!?
the german fans were very unsportsmanlike!!
I think they were one of the few teams of this year's World Cup that really played a kind of football that was a joy to watch (which they did not do in the last few decades)!
> The German guys thought, their team would of course win the world cup!
Really not true -- before the World Cup started, only few people believed that the German team would survive the eighth final or even the preliminary round.
And after the German team lost the match against Italy, most people still had a lot of fun with the remaining games (and celebrated even the 3rd place after the last match against Portugal).
> the german fans were very unsportsmanlike!!
If you would have seen the many Germans and Italians (and others) making party after Germany did not have a chance to win the World Cup anymore, you wouldn't say that...
Although the above may sound different, I really never was a football fan, but these four weeks of the World Cup in Germany were the best party that the country has ever seen -- no matter if Germany did win or not in the end... :-)
