Presumably this is a bug and will be fixed next release?
BTW did the DoS attack stop, so we no longer have to identify as 'guest/guest'?

No, this is not a bug, but standard Windows behavior for GUI apps. (Console apps work differently here and can output text to the command line interface (console), but for GUI apps, output to "stdout" (standard output) will just be thrown away. That's how things work on WIndows. I could link R'n'D to behave like a console app instead of a GUI app, but then starting R'n'D would always open an additional console window to output text, which is usually not what you want when starting a GUI app.)Presumably this is a bug and will be fixed next release?
Unfortunately, it is not a DoS attack, but AI scrapers, which are continuously scraping the site (in a very unintelligent way, causing lots of unneeded traffic), and it will most probably never end.BTW did the DoS attack stop, so we no longer have to identify as 'guest/guest'?
Just added this -- works perfectly! But Claude told me a way to explicitly attach to the console if there is one, so I will change R'n'D accordingly.

--create-sketch-images DIRECTORY write BMP images to DIRECTORY
--create-collect-image DIRECTORY write BMP image to DIRECTORYDLLs have already been loaded with the R'n'D executable when R'n'D parses the "--basepath" option. But you can use it to point any R'n'D executable to a different base directory, where the game is looking for levels, graphics, sounds, music, docs and so on.Is the --basepath forum just for testing out different DLLs etc, or does it have some deeper purpose?
No. The graphics set is selected inside R'n'D, and stored in a separate, personal config file ("setup.conf").is it possible to specify both the folder for the graphics, and the graphics set within that folder?
Can you please retain the "--execute" doc in the help output? That will help future code archaeologists understand the meaning of such command embedded in old scripts. (Doing this kind of requires a tiny in-help description of the argument format transformation between --execute "operation arg1 arg2 arg3" and --operation arg1:arg2,arg3, which might be sort of ugly. But I really do think it should be doc'd right there in the help...)
I have just removed it, but you may be right about it. Although I think it should at least be marked as "deprecated", and may be removed some day.Can you please retain the "--execute" doc in the help output?
When set to "true", selecting level sets will start from the top level directory instead from the current level directory.in setup.conf there is an option 'choose_from_top_leveldir:', what does this control?
It redirects missing graphics files to a given file. Use it with a large black image file, and omit some image files where graphics are defined in -- this will use that black file instead and replace those graphics with black pixels. Something R'n'D jue uses here and there...What does this do?
fallback_graphics_file:
I think it sets the window size when starting the game (before any custom graphics with window size definitions are used).default_window_width:
