Rocks'n'diamonds - 4.4.0.4 won't save custom input layout

Hello.
Rocks'n'diamonds - 4.4.0.4 won't save custom input layout.
This problem was first me discovered on a Mac OS computer.
But later I found out that it is also relevant for Linux and Windows builds. See attached video.

Maybe other settings are not saved too.
I haven't checked.
