How do you drop items?

I'm running R'n'D 4.1.4.1 (from the Ubuntu repository) on an Xubuntu 20.04 system with a UNIX keyboard. Level four has a note that says you drop things (like dynamite) using the right ctrl key. There is no right ctrl key on my keyboard and I can find no substitute. the single left ctrl key does not work.

What key should I use to drop items?

Is there any documentation on configuring/using the program other than the manual page -- especially on a UNIX system?

What key should I use to drop items?

You can configure and use any key you like! Just go to "setup -> input devices" and click on "customize" -- it will then let you configure all keys used in the game (keys for moving into all four directions, snaping and dropping game elements).

Although R'n'D's documentation is generally miserable and outdated, this is indeed described in the manual (also outdated, sorry for that) that you can find here:
