french or russian ingame info
the only languages i speak are english and dutch

I think english also; because there's more bilingual people with english as a second language than there are bilingual people with english as a first language, if you catch my drift (it's a bit cryptic)
In other words: there's a lot more people in europe and asia that can also to speak english, while lots of primarily english speaking people don't know a second language...

Those who can't learn will teach; those who can't teach will learn.
I agree that the info should be in english, but I don't think it's necessary to prevent levels with other languages. It's better to have some level in a foreign language than no levelset at all. The Rocks'n'Diamonds game itself is the same whatever language you speak.
But of course, envelopes or other in-game info doesn't give much information if you don't understand it...

Yes, but then again - No one can do anything to force players to write in english in their levelsetsdibbl wrote:so.....Zomis wrote: But of course, envelopes or other in-game info doesn't give much information if you don't understand it...
ingame info should be in english(or at least a translation included)

Maybe someone could translate the envelopes/level text before the sets are released. That is unless the creator writes in gibberish or some other far-out language that no one can figure out...Zomis wrote:Yes, but then again - No one can do anything to force players to write in english in their levelsets

Maybe to those who *can* speak (read, write...) English, but don't *want* to. ;-)
(No, I haven't said anything about the French anywhere!!! ;-) ;-) ;-) )
Besides that, somebody who managed to download the game, play it, created his own level set with envelopes or other written text would most probably also be able to write those texts in English if they are important to play or solve his/her levels, I assume...

At least that's better than only knowing one language and not bothering to learn any other, simply because ours its the "universal one" (which always makes me feel a bit guilty!)Maybe to those who *can* speak (read, write...) English, but don't *want* to.
Anyway, I hardly know English......never mind any others!
