bigger pixel size

Got a cool idea that should be in R'n'D? Let's hear it!

bigger pixel size

Post by Martijn »

hello

besides the 'stretch the screen' idea I suggested on the old forum so that you REALLY play fullscreen, what about an option to change between pixel format?
Why? Is your first reaction. Well, look at the old Supaplex. It had big pixels so all objects were bigger. 64x64 I think. But in R'n'D the size is much smaller.
If there could be an option to switch between pixel formats... (a so-called zoom mode)

You may be surprised to hear this, but the original Supaplex has an object size of 16x16 pixels!

And yes, scaling the R'n'D graphics would be a nice thing for super-high resolutions (like on some newer notebooks)...
