This is
the freeware Flash section. Here you can find freeware Boulderdash
games written in Shockwave Flash. Those games run in your web
browser.
Shockwave
Flash or Flash is a graphics animation program, written and marketed by
Macromedia, that uses vector graphics. The resulting files, called SWF
(said like swiff) files, may appear in a web page to view in a web
browser, or standalone Flash players may "play" them. Flash files occur
most commonly in animated advertisements on web pages and rich-media
web sites, although prank flash has become common.
You
need Shockwave Flash Player to be installed on your computer to run
these games. Download it here.
Below are the Flash
games. Download them and enjoy!

A
good clone with nice music, sounds and animations. Controlling Acno, a
snail-like character, you have to move the balls into the energizers in
each level to charge it. Once it's charged, you can use it as a
teleporter to go to the next level. So this game is not about
collecting gems, but the other Boulderdash elements, like boulders,
dirt, doors and enemies are presented in this nice game!

A
Swedish Emerald Mine clone, made by Kraft Foods Inc. (a food
manufacturer). The game has animations but no sounds.

The
same game idea as Acno´s Energizer but this time with an
Egyptian theme. With nice animations, Egyptian music and sounds. The
online version is free, but the downloadable version is free. For that
reason, I didn´t link the game title to the download (because
this is the freeware section), but you can download the limited version
here.

A
Boulderdash clone that is set in a
gold mine. There are not so many
animations and the graphics are a bit bumpy. But the sounds and music
(between the levels) give a nice atmosphere to the game. At the
beginning of each level, you get a level code so you don't have to
start again when you play this game another time. In each level, there
is a time limit.

A funny Boulderdash clone with a monkey who has to collect
gems and
tungsten rings. It has nice animations and sounds.
