Forum database fixed

I've finally had time to fix the broken MySQL database that powers this forum -- should all work fine again now. The last backup was from 2009-04-28, which was the night before the database corruption. (Fortunately, I make nightly backups of the forum database, so hopefully only few posts are lost.)

It's good to see it back online again!

I had to do an assignment for a web design course, to create a sort of chat utility using a database - it gives you an appreciation for how much effort is required for these things.

Finally it works again.

But www.zomis.net/rnd is now gone.. does anybody know why?

I must say it really is great to have the forum and files archive working again AND to have so many people back on the forum already!
