I can't see much puzzling in this level... but I guess it's needed to snap the emerald in case of lack of time. Or maybe it's not needed to take it at all since you didn't say anything about taking the emerald, and the exit is already open.

Yes, that's right! The exit is already open, and you don't need to collect/snap the emerald. If you do it, you doesn't get through the exit door because the rock blocks the way. I thought some people would not see the exit door is open. What a bummer, I easily can't make puzzles.
