"Mod: Mod: Mod: Level 0"

Post by ncrecc »

  • go to Classic Original Games -> Emerald Mine and open the Level Creator for Level 0; it will say "this level is read-only!"
  • doodle around and click "save"; when it says "this level is read-only ! save into personal level set ?" say "yes"
  • click "CONF"; the title will be "Mod: Level 0" and the author will be "Me (Ed.)". cool!
  • close the settings and save it again
  • click "CONF" again; the title will now be "Mod: Mod: Level 0" and the author will be "Me after Me (Ed.)"
  • rinse and repeat... "Mod: Mod: Mod: Level 0", "Me after Me after Me (Ed.)". funnily enough the author field will eventually "overflow" and go back to just "Me (Ed.)" but the title field never will, ending in "Mod: Mod: Mod: Mod: Mod: Mod: Mo" once the maximum length is reached.
when saving a level that you forked into your personal levelset, the game should recognize you're now working on that level and not a read-only level, and not introduce further "Mod:" or "x after x" lines.
