Joystick menu delay bug

When using the joystick in the main menu, everything works well : moving the joystick vertically makes the selection cursor go up or down, with a little delay that let the user time to stop on the wished selection.

The bug happens when you select a levelset which needs reloading of the graphics/sfx/etc... After this, the joystick menu delay becomes shorter and makes it more difficult to target a selection with the joystick.

Using the keyboard, the menu delay seems to always be very short : just hold the "up" or "down" key in the main menu to see the selection go to the top or to the bottom.
For the joystick, the delay is bigger before the bug happens.

Strange... Can anybody confirm this? I haven't tested this yet, but I'll check that. I have to make some little adjustments to the joystick code anyway...
