I know ive asked this before (a long time ago now)
but i honestly cant remember what needs doing in order for it to work
i know it has something to do with moving a file within workbench to another folder but i cant remember what the file was called or what folder...
anyone have any idea?

If it's a DD (720K) floppy, you need a CrossDOS for reading it. The device is PC0:
If it's a HD (1440K) floppy, you'll also need a HD floppy drive.

Instead of using CrossDOS, you can also use Kickstart 2.0 / Workbench 2.0 or above, which has this functionality already built in.

Ah, Holger was right, however it might be the fact that i moved the file long ago so it would work, and on that note it can be known as either xdos or crossdos
I wanted to tell a friend how to do it himself but i just couldnt remember how or what, so thanks :-p
