About the upcoming Android version - C or Java?
I was wondering about the upcoming Android version, will some code be translated from C to Java or will it be entirely done in C?

Hi Zomis,
the Android version of R'n'D is entirely written in C.
Well, as it uses the SDL2 library, it contains a small portion of Java code to invoke the NDK C code. Besides that, the Unix, Windows, Mac and Android version are exactly the same code base, thanks to SDL/SDL2. (The game can currently be compiled with both SDL and SDL2, except of the Android version, which needs SDL2. The code for the obsolete MS-DOS version and for the native X11 version of the game will be dropped in the next release version.)
