I found out:
you don't need a key to
pass the EMC doors in
3.1.2.
That's a little... silly.

You have to activate the emerald mine engine for this level (level creator, info, game engine).

I don't really see a difference in the normal player speed ...
But with the emerald mine engine, speed pills don't work any more ...

That depends on the speed of your system. If your system can run Rocks 'n' Diamonds at 50 fps with plenty of time to spare in the R&D engine, then you are more likely to be able to run it at 50 fps (or close to 50) in the Emerald Mine Engine.

Well, they just aren't part of Emerald Mine...oh well.
Hopefully the R&D engine will improve over time to be more and more like the EM engine without breaking too many current levels...

Just fixed that ultra-embarrassing bug... :-o
What a shame that this one really found its way into the stable 3.1.2... :-o
(And funny that nobody noticed so far -- seems that the four EM keys are more than enough... ;-) )
