Sprite Explanation

  Empty: This is a blank space where you can move to, enemies can move to, or rocks can fall into.

  Dirt: This square will stop enemies and rocks moving into it, but you can move over it just like an empty space. Moving over it will turn it into an empty space.

  Jewel: You must deposit the required number of these to complete the level. You can collect them by moving over them. It will then follow you until you pass over a whirlpool.

  Super Jewel: These are just like the normal jewels except they are worth 3 times more points. Also, these wont fall when there is an empty space under them.

  Key: These can be collected like jewels. They are needed to open doors. Gold and silver keys open gold and silver doors respectively.

  Bomb: These can be collected, then planted anywhere. Once planted, a bomb will explode after 4 seconds, destroying a 3x3 grid centered on the bomb. Bombs cannot destroy strong walls, exits or doors.

  1UP: This will give you an extra life when collected.

  Invincible: Grants complete immunity from ALL hazards except C4. Any jewels following you will also be invincible. A timer will appear when the invincible is about to leave you.

  Break Jewel Limit: Allows you to break the carrying limit of jewels. Each one collected will allow an extra 5 jewels to be in a trail

  Rock:  These fall when an empty square is under it. It will kill you or enemies if it lands on top of you/them. Rocks can be pushed left and right provided the square at the other side is either empty or dirt.

  Anvil: Behaves much like a rock. Anvils cannot be pushed left or right and cannot be destroyed (unless it drops on a mine). When they fall for 4 squares or more, if they land on an object like a jewel or wall, they will destroy it.

  Strong wall: Walls allow nothing to pass over them. The strong wall cannot be destroyed. Every level is surrounded by this wall at the edges, meaning you cannot leave the game area.

  Weak wall: Acts like a strong wall except it can be destroyed. A bomb or an exploding mine or an enemy can destroy weak walls.

  Filter: Like a weak wall but with one difference; any object that can fall (rocks, jewels, keys bombs) can pas through this wall if there is an empty square underneath it. You or enemies cannot pass through this wall.

  Door: Behaves like a strong wall and cannot be destroyed. It can be opened if you have a key. Opening the door will use 1 key. Gold and silver doors require gold and silver keys respectively.

  Jewel Door: These doors can be opened once you have collected a specific amount of jewels. Opening these doors does not require a key. The amount of jewels needed varies but the door will have the required value written on it. And it cannot be destroyed.

  Exit: Also behaves like a strong wall. Once enough jewels have been deposited, you can exit the level by stepping onto an exit square.

  Mine: This will explode like a bomb when something tries to move onto it. If you or an enemy move onto it, an object falls on it, or an explosion touches it, it will blow. You are safe to be next to a mine, just don't go into it.

C4 Explosive: Behaves like a mine but with one important difference: When exploding, it doesn't just take out a 3x3 grid, but destroys the entire level, including all indestructible objects and will even pierce your invincible! If one goes off, the level is over.

  Monster A: Can only move through empty spaces. It will go straight forward until it meets an edge, then it attempts to turn left, if it can't it will turn right, then if it can't go right either, it will turn around. It will explode if it touches you, killing you, and doesn't know it shouldn't move into a mine.

  Monster B: Like monster A. When killed, this will turn into 9 jewels. Killing them is necessary in some levels at you will need the jewels it drops.

  Monster C: Behaves like the others. When killed, it will turn into 9 rocks.

  Monster D: Instead of blindly moving forward, these devils will head straight for you. Killing one reaps a good reward; 9 Super Jewels.

  Bonus Token: Collect 3 of these, and you will be taken to a bonus stage after the current level.

  Whirlpool: Moving over it will deposit every jewel that is following you. It will also collect jewels that fall into it and will also remove rocks that drop into it. Since monsters cannot pass through them, they can also act as safe spots when there are lots of enemies around. These can be destroyed so be careful.

Single Step: You can pass over this just like an empty space. Once stepped on, it will turn into a strong wall, meaning you can only go on these squares once. Other objects, including monsters, cannot step on this square. These are also indestructable

Arrow: Arrows can point up, down, left or right. When you or a monster steps on this square, you/it can only move in the direction of the arrow (e.g. you can only move up when on an up arrow). Although you can step on these, they are indestructible, so don't bother trying to blow it up.

  Explosion: Not exactly a permanent object, when something explodes, it will leave explosions for a short while. These explosions can set mines of, destroy most objects, and even kill you. Don't move into an explosion (unless you're invincible of course).
