A way of making elevate rocks

Ok, so I now got a way of making infinite rocks (or diamonds) and
a way of separating rocks from diamonds. The last thing I
need is how to elevate rocks. For example : try to elevate
the boulder to where the BD rock is...

I believe that it is scientifically impossible to make an official Rocks 'n' Diamonds non-CE rock move in the "up" direction. :(

(I assume that you are not willing to use CEs.)

Hmm... Great example with using the normal elements instead CEs that
are not possible expect for the JUE levels that were cool 8)

I've opened your archive but I can see just an empty level :!:

It worked fine for me. But if it doesn't work here's an alternative: http://www.zomis.net/rnd/download.php?i ... rockmoveup

Aaargh, sorry, I made it with RnD v3.2.0rc8.

Here's a new file made with v3.1.2 (thx Daniel  ):

The great thing is, that you can use this content for the Yamyam:

and it works with Alans BoulderGen, too (if you replace there the bottom right with a steel wall). :D

So I added a second level to this levelset, where both machines are combined. 8)

I think you mean 3.1.1.

I have to see this!

OK! Now it works perfectly, and yours is a cool solution, Jannik!

Seen what can be done *without* CEs, it's impossible to imagine what can be done *with* them - my sincere compliments to Holger for RnD and again to Jannik for this solution ;) Well done!

Now, we'd like to see the levelset you are planning, James, esperamos que no demore demasiado ;) Just kidding: I am the king of unachieved dead-lines...

Seems like you were testing on us... I have learnt not to be surprised by anything, even more if it's RnD related - so you got what you deserved: the trespassing of a limit ;)

I just recognized that Alans Boulder Generator can break ...

I added a tape of level 002 to the zip file above, please have a look at second 4:12 ...

Is this a bug? :?

Edit:
- happens with 3.1.2 and 3.2.0rc8
- happens with my level 002 and Alans original Bouldergen level
- happens often around minute 4, sometimes at minute 9, but overall rather reliable

Definetly a bug. Now when I see it, it makes me think I've seen that kind of bug before.
The problem seems to be with the amoeba. It explodes before it expands. Strange.

(Hint for others who which to see the bug: You can load the tape, pause somewhere before 4:12, and then you can unpause the tape and continue playing. Just simply do nothing and 4 minutes and 12 seconds in the game you'll see it. When starting a new game however, you don't know when the bug comes since it's a new random seed)

Interesting........ So would you say the bug is something in the level or RnD itself?

When I was testing it, I left it running for a couple of hours while I did something else.... and it seemed ok :-\

I'm guessing RND. Since it is very rarely it breaks.
