What does the date look like in your culture? Do you put the day before or after the month when you write the date?

I hope that people are reading all of the options
before they just vote for 2 April, 2006...

I actually think that most cultures say the date before the month, so I think the poll shows the correct results so far.

Maybe U.S. is the only country/culture which say the month before the date?

no, surely not. They also do it in England and in many other countries as well. I've once seen a list with countries, if I can remember well. I don't know if I'm sure, but don't they put the month before the number of the date in Japan as well?

BTW - Do you normally put the year before the date? I should have put this on the pole.

It probably shouldn't be put on now, because then the poll may start showing incorrect results
