I have a sound ive just downgraded from 2mb to a mere 266kb (removed stereo, lowered channels), but for some reason when its played ingame the sound is played at about half speed.

the original 2mb file played at normal speed

it's got to be 22khz, your's was 32khz so it will sound weird.

Sound recorder will convert this for you.
