Maybe it's a UK thing, but maybe not......
For those lucky people who don't know what I'm talking about, it's an advert on TV selling ringtones for mobile phones..... and it's driving me insane! Shown on nearly every ad break and sometimes twice, every channel, 24/7
I have just read that Germany has the "Sweety the Chick" advert. We also have this...

Where will it show up next?

I have no TV and I'm fine with it. :-P
If it's the same sound as in
http://funnyjunk.com/pages/insanity_test.htm, then it's a very good reason to get rid of the TV set. ;-)

Incredible junk. And apparently also incredible successful: (found by Google)
"Crazy Frog set to leap to number one":

"Coldplay gazumped by Crazy Frog":

Notice that these are _single_ charts, and not _ringtone_ charts! :-o

Oh yeah, and it's even more annoying -- this one, right?
But there is a solution! Try this one: (Flash plugin needed.)

I have tried it, and it helps a bit! =:-)

Ohhhh, that picture is better than 10 years of therapy!
So I take it you are aware of the chick then?
But my laughter faded when I read:
Notice that these are _single_ charts, and not _ringtone_ charts!
No......please be a joke, right?
I've just read it's in Australia as well! Wow, it's almost like a James Bond film..... the Bad guys evil plan to turn the world insane!

That's just sick... but hey, did you also notice that the World accelerates on its way to disaster? ;-)

That's just sick
Believe me bojster, after weeks of watching that little ****** dancing around and screeching, you would entertain dark thoughts.......including axes.
did you also notice that the World accelerates on its way to disaster?

I'm off to the mountains!

I meant that the whole fuss with the frog and especially going up the charts (not that there are any good things anyway ;-) is sick. But, well, the tweety-slaughtering flash wasn't too 'normal' either. :P

oh god, i know exactally what you mean, i have an urge to smash the tv whenever it appears, but instead i change the channel, but i usually miss the vast majority of the show i was watching because of it
i used to have the ads on the computer too till i got some firefox plugin that lets you type in a URL and removes anything comming from it, havnt seen a crazy frog advert in several weeks now
and you seem to be forgetting about their newly released, little dancing dragon
