Simple small gfx set changing gnomes to the Heroes. Because why not

Put in R'n'D or MM folder, whatever...
Just download

A strange idea about MM's artwork in R'n'D

6 years have passed since... that was quite a breeze...
Just tonight, I did a little quick edit of one of sprites of that levelset to instead make rockford appear smaller, around the same size as gnomes.

Right after that I got a possibly strange idea - what if, specifically in R'n'D gnomes of MM engine would instead be replaced with these little rockfords?
Although, on second thought, that's probably very much unnecessary.

based on the mindbender title screen, i would say the wizard himself should be replaced with rockford

Somehow I must have missed that post/thread!
This would be a cool change to somehow have similar graphics in both the R'n'D (and related) game engine(s) and the (quite different) MM game engine!
On the other hand... the MM engine is really so much different than all other engines that it may make sense to also use graphics that don't try to look like R'n'D graphics (like the player in this example).
Nevertheless, I do like these alternative, player-like "gnomes"!
But then, the McDuffin graphics are then even more "different" ... oh well.
Update:

That could indeed work! In this case, it might make sense to also use a more Rockford-like player for the native BD engine. On the other hand, "the player" should probably look the same in all engines. So, in the MM engine, McDuffin could be the yellow player, and the gnomes could be one of the other three players with a different color. Not sure about all this...
