Emerald mine exit doors and multiplayer

As far as I remember, in Emerald Mine the exit doors used to disappear after a player goes through it, unlike the Supaplex exit doors.
Besides, the level is considered complete only if each player has reached an exit. At the moment, in rocksndiamonds, it seems that only player 1 needs to reach the exit to finish the level. If player 2 reaches it, it doesn't end it.
