new *level*

im gonna release a new level VERY soon ^^

i dont think this has been done before but i can guarentee you will be surprized

highest score ive had so far on it is 44 :-p (make that 75)

i need to sort out some of these glitches before i release it

controls:

left
moves objects left

right
moves objects right

down
drops items to bottom or
releases more objects if the green light is lit


objects:

coloured gems
connect 2 together to cause an explosion, points are based on how many chains of explosions you get, not how many you get at once

rocks
basically just trouble, get in the way, blow them up by making a gem combo

diamond
can be eaten by yams, but other than that are the same as gems(should i make them break when stoned?

aomeba
is very annoying, try to cover this or blow it up as soon as possible or you could end up totally stuck, yams can eat it

yam
can eat diamonds and aomeba if next to them or on top of them, also can release random items when you smash them with a rock
*note* sometimes yams dont eat aomeba or diamonds when its ontop of them

I played once and got 58 points :-)
Very nice idea and realisation, I don't think I'll be playing that much, though.

Pretty cool idea. It's also the first usage of the "lock the player in a corner with control CEs" trick, one that I've seen used constantly in another game called ZZT.

The game gets pretty boring, however. I think that speeding up the game as it wears on would improve it TREMENDOUSLY.

So you haven't seen the Space Invaders game I made, a while back? That doesn't use the player at all.....
