Could you please ask things like that in off topic as the last post I made in here was a reply to a problem, which has now has moved up.

I agree.
If everybody was a moderator, then everybody could split topics like this when the moderator isn't home!
By the way -- HerzAusGold is on vacation right now, I believe.

I have an idea. Sascha's post is so out of place, that I think that he mistaken the names. I think he meant "Alan" and not "HerzAusGold". I could be wrong, but since their signatures are both "imperscrutable"...
Holger and Flumminator can get rid of all this stuff very quickly, anyway...

I also had that idea... But confusing Alan and HerzAusGold? Can't really imagine this...

Done splitting this to "Off Topic", where it belongs to! :-)

Assuming that Sascha did mean Alan, the answer to his question is in a recent post about the game "Doom."

Not so much, keeping in account that Sascha didn't know that I was the author of Rockfighter...
...pretty egocentric as statement, isn't it?

I'm not so sure about this last fact (I mean Sascha knowing not the author of that set).
Well, we just have to wait for Sascha to solve both issues...

Assuming that he truly meant HerzAusGold, the answer is 42...
The problem is now "What's the question whose answer is 42?"...
Well, we just have to wait 'till the end of the program, we are still computing the solution, also with these posts
Just few among few should be able to see through this fog, and those few would have a towel with themselves...

See level 42 of Niko Böhm's tutorial
(if you can get to it easily
see topic by Zomis about unreachable levels for details) for another perspective about it.

@Sascha: ok, but who did you mean in first place?
@Daniel: try googling "H2G2"... from there on, it's your quest

I'm not sure that I agree there.
oolong, the only 3 posts you have made on this forum (as of when I am typing this) seem to be talking about mistakes that Alan made.
Everybody makes mistakes! Why are you posting about Alan's

Hi Daniel.
oolong only quote some books which are not so popular as "H2G2".
"Where God went wrong", "Some of God's greatest mistakes" (which not really exists)
It seems H2G2 is popular in this forum and in china too.
If you are not from "Golgafrincham" you should read the book..
Welcome to the forum, oolong !
