Supaplex for ZX Spectrum

Post by SLAPPYHAPPY2000 »

How many of you knew that Supaplex was made for the ZX Spectrum?
Click the link in this post to play the game. It's honestly nothing special in terms of graphics and controls (literally no other control other than "Cursor" works) but it has two music tracks, one completely unique.
I just thought it was cool.

Re: Supaplex for ZX Spectrum

Hello. I'm a ZX Spectrum fan (I grew up with that machine) and I produced an "RZX" recording of playing through and solving the whole game. The compatibility with Amiga/MS-DOS Supaplex is very good, probably perfect, because I got stuck on one level and I had to check a solution of original Supaplex, and the same thing worked on the Speccy: clever rolling of rocks.

If you care about Speccies then you know where to find that recording :)

(Regarding the music or soundtracks: I believe this game was made by Russians, or ex-USSR: the Speccy has an interesting history there. It does mean that there are some "late-breaking" games full of demoscene soundtracks.)
