Can you help a newbie? Playing downloaded levels

Post by allie181 » Sun Apr 30, 2006 9:51 am

Hi,

I've finished the first 8 levels of RnD. I've downloaded the Sokoban levels, but how do I play them?

Thanks in advance for your help :)

Just download the level archives and extract them into the "levels" directory inside the "Rocks'n'Diamonds" directory inside your "My Documents" directory! :-)

If you need any further help, please don't hesitate to ask, and we will help you! :-)

That is, if you use Windows... Maybe it's different for Mac/Linux users (I don't know, I use windows here).
Current project:
Nope.

I personally prefer to use the levels folder in program files/rocks n diamonds to store downloaded level groups, ---- but that's just my preference.

One great resource which personally gave me a lot of answers is The rnd manual even if it isn't quite up to 3.6, it is up to 3.4, and thus has great information on a lot of in game aspects even if it is missing a couple of newer changes to the settings.

I'm actually a litle sad Francesco hasn't made anymore updates as yet.
