Help with Bill Cotter level 024

Is there a bug in the Bill Cotter level 024? There are only 100 seconds available to complete the level, which is noway near the time needed. All other Bill Cotter levels have unlimited time.

It should not be a problem to change the time limit by editing the level file in a hex editor, can someone give me pointers on how? :)

Hi Fringe, you don't need to change the level file directly, you can change it from the "level creator" option, in the main screen. Since the level could be readonly, you should edit the levelinfo.conf file in the levels folder, and change the "readonly" option to false. Then go to the level creator, click on "info" and change the "time/steps to solve the level" option. Hope this will help.

Thanks! I thought it was more difficult than that to change a level from readonly.

You can also disable the timer from options, it saves having to edit all 100 levels!

So there doesn't seem to be any need to edit more than 1 level, Alan... of course, the timelimit option is useful too.
