snake bite graphics not correctly loaded

Post by Martijn »

hello,

I downloaded Francesco's Snake Bite levelset '42 steps' and configured the levelinfo.conf to let it use the Snake Bite graphics, music and sounds.
But look at the side panel: most of it is not shown. And when playing a level, the main part has the standard, gray RnD graphics!

How should I fix this?

Download it here:

Just checked out your zip archive!

I have absolutely no idea why it does not work for you -- it works just fine for me and shows all and everything it should from the SnakeBite gfx set, in the main menu and when playing, just as it does in original SnakeBite (and as I would expect when looking at the "levelinfo.conf" file).

I would understand it the other way round: Problems under Linux, working fine under Windows, because of case differences in filenames being no problem under Windows, but are differentiated under Linux. But in this case I'm lost. :-o

Could anybody else please check this or has an idea what went wrong on Martijn's system with this level set? (Obviously, you need to have SnakeBite installed for this.)

It's strange that Alan had the same problem with my level. Since I've got no idea about the solution, I can't do anything else than reporting it and telling that a maybe working (just redesigned) version of it is available on the RnDFA:

...
Anyway, by the way, have fun!

well, after all, it was not a bug... stupid
And in the editor, it's normal that there is the standard gray frame, isn't it? Quite logical, because the level editor's graphics are not so important.
