need help with soundsinfo.conf

Post by Martijn »

hello,

for my levelset I put this into the soundsinfo.conf:

door.opening: door.wav
door.closing: door.wav

It works, also if you press [esc] while you are playing a level. But when you finish a level and in the side panel the text 'overwrite old tape?' (or so) appears, you still hear another sound. But I can't find out what I should type in in the soundsinfo.conf.

Can someone help?

Thanks in advance.

Sounds strange... [sic!]

This could be a bug -- I'll check this. (BTW: Does this also happen with sets like BD2K3 which redefine all sounds? If not, check the soundsinfo.conf there, maybe the solution can be found there...)

no, it's not a bug. I finally found it in the BD2K3 set: it was the sound of the closing exit! Thanks!

I'm sorry, this is my last question before the set is ready:

how can I, even when toons are enabled, make that there are no toons? I don't know the command for it which should be put in the graphicsinfo.conf.

Just add this line to your "graphicsinfo.conf":

global.num_toons: 0

That's it! :-)
