Rocks'n'Diamonds Wiki

Post by Flumminator »

Hi there.

Since I simply don't have enough time to provide a decent documentation, I've set up a Wiki instead, so that anyone can enhance and correct it.

It can be found at: http://www2.semisane.de/rndwiki/

If you don't know what a Wiki is, have a look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wiki

Any contributions are welcome. I've already provided some screenshots of many parts of the game on a seperate page, that you all can use.

Have Fun!

[edit: new address. for reason see here]

Yeeha Flummi! Finally the Wiki is released!
Unfortunately, I don't think many of us have time to write on the documentation, but this will make it much easier to make contributions!

Great project, and a great contribution to R'n'D!

Much better to document things than using the forum, I think! :-)

I'll link to it from the R'n'D web site soon!

Sounds very useful, and I have way too much free time on my hands anyway...

EDIT: Oh my... Whenever I try to use any of the Site Navigation options other than Recent Changes and Random Page, I get an error, " IOError[Errno 13] Permission denied: '/var/www/wiki/data/text/AboutWiki' ", along with a bewilidering display of more debugging information than I could possibly comprehend...

I would write something more in it, but I have to work on my newest huge Project... (40% complete yet).

Anyways as I already told, great stuff ! Now it is possible to make a documentation of the whole members instead of only 1 each.

And no entrance for terrorists (clearing all text in it) ! These people should be punished with some weeks forum ban and wiki ban forever... or not Flummi ? Else they would do it (again)... :D

You can't. Link to them instead.
(Remember that the archive is open, please make it non-public if you link it from the documentation though, there's so many public files anyway)

No worries, that's what the wiki's all about; letting people fill in and enhance each other's work.

There's an option n the wiki to allow files to be attached to pages,...

I've turned this on now.
