CE Action: player artwork

Post by Sascha »

a little question:
I've just seen, you can change the player artwork with
a CE.

[ ] [SET ARTWORK] = [ [ELEMENT] ]

But how do you enter a graphic of an element?

Hello, i think you can change it into the element that triggered the change.
Like:

Code: Select all

Hit by element = [rock]
Change player graphics = [Trigger]
That would turn the player into the triger element, in this case a rock .
I dont know what the target thing is for.
Maybe u should ask Holger.

Using the "Target" option to change the graphic of the player is demonstated in Radiation Area.

What is Target & Trigger?
I haven't been understanding that since that feature has appeared.

"Trigger" is the "Element Triggering Change" (like the pseudo-element). James explained this above.

"Target" is the element in "Element Changes to (element)" at the top of the "Change" configuration tab. See the level mentioned above.

You're welcome. :)

It is easy; the difficult part is finding a place to learn it. ;)
