This is fixed in 3.2.0 because you can't "move into acid" anymore. Back in version 3.1.2 and earlier, the red player, green player, blue player, and Murphy all look like the yellow player when moving into acid.
But that's fixed now! If you try the pre-release versions of Rocks 'n' Diamonds then you can see what bugs still exist.

No, not a new official release, just pre-release versions which are announced here.Sascha wrote:there is a new version of R'n'D there now?

linux
is there a version for unix too?
You always have to compile the Unix versions because of the many different types of Unix.

The Windows version is only for convenience for Windows users which usually cannot easily compile code on their systems...

Oops! I don't think that this is fixed -- I think it's broken! The player should be able to "fall" (or move) into acid just like in 3.1.2... :-o

Oh, that's good to know. I liked it better when the player appeared to be "falling" (or moving) into acid.Holger wrote:Oops! I don't think that this is fixed -- I think it's broken! The player should be able to "fall" (or move) into acid just like in 3.1.2...
In that case, Sascha is right, this is a bug that needs fixing:
the red player, green player, blue player, and Murphy all look like the yellow player when moving into acid.
And I assume now that if you had the following scenario:
When you go into the acid pool at the bottom, I am guessing that you would still look like a regular player.
The player looks like a normal yellow player.
Due to dangerous radiation, the player's appearance has become a Stable Bomb with a regular blue shield (not pictured) around it.

Yeah, that's how it should be... :-)

Most probably yes. But now that I know of this bug (and thanks for pointing out this even more special situation with the player using custom graphics), I should be able to fix it so it looks right in all these situations!
