holger said he wanted to open up a thread on compatibility with EMC levels.

i'll get it started.

levels 54,56,67,69,72,73 from expert mine 3 are impossible because of fake acid.

I think there's a damn list somewhere in the forums. Unforunately, the topic is buried right now -- the list of imcompatible levels of course. I'll throw out some levels that might have strange behavior or unusual activity. :o Keep in watch. :p

Time for some a bit of reporting:
The Adventures of Mr. B Part 2, level 42 - when you play the level, you will see the rocks next to the player disappear in front of your eyes, which resulted a spill of bombs exploding. However, when played via level editor, it didn't responded that way. However, the level remained solvable to me.

Level I've tried, and either couldn't, didn't, or haven't finished as of this post:
"Emerald Mine Club" > "Expert Mine 2" > Levels 49, 52;
"Emerald Mine Club" > "Expert Mine 3" > Levels 19, 21, 44, 51, 54, 56, 67, 69, 72, 73, 78, 79, 80;

A lot of those looked like a doors next to fake acid problem.
It looks like the player should be able to go through the door put can't.
Same problem might happen with rolling rocks?

I attached a screenshot and tape of a spot where this happens
Can't go through the blue door even with the blue key.
"Emerald Mine Club" > "Expert Mine 3" > Level 21
~/.rocksndiamonds/tapes/emc_expert_mine_3/021.tape
If you want tape for others, ask and I can add them.

Level 44 looked like it needs wrap around.
some '%'/mod() needed somewhere(s)?
"Emerald Mine Club" > "Expert Mine 3" > Level 44

using Rocks'n'Diamonds 4.1.1.0 with debug compile for better speed control, and
the "WIDESCREEN MODE (1920x1080)" "Custom Artwork" for more viewable playing field" <-- full typical EMC level height, just shy of typical EMC level width. viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2221
Note: The levels from "Expert Mine 1" have worked fine.
