Enemies dodging falling boulders

I did a quick search on this forum about this bug, but didn't find any topic concerning it yet. I'm sorry if there is one and I missed it.

I'm making a remake of Rockford on R'n'D (or actually it's already finished, except for some graphic sets and few objects such as worms and "taps"), but this bug renders some levels impossible (or at least very annoying).

However, sometimes, when a boulder is walling towards an enemy moving up, the enemy will change direction just few frames before impact, thus avoiding the hit.

I'm sure you're aware of this bug. But I'd like to know if there's any way to get way to get rid (or around) of it. :p

I fixed the problem now by creating custom enemies with move delay greater than 0.

I loved Rockford! I used to have it on the ZX Spectrum.
