New sokoban objects

Post by RAP »

I have a idea, but I'vd stolen it from Docker Sokoban and SokoMind Plus
so if you give me feedback for that idea; that will be great. :D

The ideas are:
- 2 more sokoban objects, colored (boxes) and 2 more storeages for the other boxes.
- numbered storeages who will reqiured to put the corrected number boxes in.

So, any feedback guys?

Yep, nice stolen idea. I even played SokoMind rarely.
But first someone should collect all sokoban levels ...
And distribute it here.
And the answer is ... 42 !

Oh, you want more Sokoban levels? I nearly forgot that I have a bunch of new Sokoban style levels for R'n'D ready for releasing.

I think I should release them then... :-)

A great little sub-project for R'n'D would be a level importer for Sokoban levels in one of the common Sokoban ASCII file format, as can be seen in the following examples:

http://www.electricmonk.nl/data/miscell ... ethack.sok
http://users.bentonrea.com/~sasquatch/s ... uatch.html

This should be relatively easy, and in fact I wanted to do this by myself since a long time now... (It would work a bit like the original Supaplex level reader, as the SP levels are also stored in one big file the "levelinfo.conf" file is referencing to. So it would fit well into the existing native level loader functions, I think.)

Hi CEEL
have you tested rndTest with sokomode?
Btw. rndTest include a option "-home" (or "-home=<dir>) .
Define the users dir. I think you have mentioned this somewhere..
Very usefull - You can travel with RnD on an usb-stick.

Hi Holger,
Unfortunatly for the next couple of months (or years) I suppose I found no time for coding on RnD.
(Work in another country. Zomis can guess in which one.)
And the answer is ... 42 !

Too bad! Your changes to R'n'D are really good. But then I will have some time to incorporate some or all of your additions, and if you're back, you can add some more! :-)

I wish you good luck and success then! If that country also has Internet access, I'll be happy to see you again in the forum every now and then! ;-)
