Got a cool idea that should be in R'n'D? Let's hear it!

^ Can anyone make all sprites from Rockford (Amiga) for Rocks´n´Diamonds? All sprites from Hunter, Cook, Cowboy, Astronaut and Doctor and rebuild all Levels from Rockford.

Have a look at this post from 2008: http://www.artsoft.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=1901

The download link still seems to be functional! :-)

How do you feel about deliberately mirroring such externally referenced materials (i.e.: levelsets & associated artwork) ?

You mean making it all available on R'n'D's "levels and artwork" page?

Yes, putting it all together in a "final" format (tidying up things like archive formats and available documentation) is on my to-do list for a looong time... :)

Until then, I am happy that there were sites like Zomis' level archive and Martijn's BD fan page, that did a lot of this work. But unfortunately, the first one is gone, and the second one is (a) sometimes down and (b) incomplete (probably due to lost data caused by whatever reason).

I guess I mean both putting it in nice final format; and grabbing it and putting it up for raw download as soon as you see it mentioned (with all appropriate source pointers etc.); as a hedge against future Internet Rot.

Of course I really mean 'grabbing it raw then eventually making it nice'...
