battle levels

Post by Darkon »

Incase anyone is interested, i created a few battle levels for 2-4 players to battle each other

*edit* ive now changed the levels to make them also suitable for offline play

*edit again* got rid of the roller bomb levels because, quite frankly, they sucked :-p
and added new levels instead so now theres 10 levels instead of 5

they arnt very complex, but thats what makes them fun ;-)

I wish I had someone to play with... Maybe I should test this networking option of RnD eventually...?

I'm in... as soon as the network play speed is increased. I remember playing with Flummi and Richard, it was slooooow...

Otherwise, it _can_ be played multiplayer on the same computer, I know... it's not the same.

The R&D Chat is always open of course :)

While where on this topic, does anybody have a copy of that Netwars game I did?

Apart from the multiplayer elements in it, there where weapons with their own pickups, projectiles & collisions.... which a few people are asking about recently. (plus I'd like to play with that sniper rifle again)

Fun though! Didn't somebody write an addon so net play was available in windows?, I forget who sorry.

isnt it already intergrated into the engine?

i had a little mess on yesterday and tried opening 2 instances of r&d, both on netmode, one as host and the other conneting, worked fine, but obviously its not very fun to play by yourself :-p

and i think it was flumminator, not sure though

im gonna update the levels shortly anyhow with some more bomberman-ish graphics

just updated it to add new bomberman style bombs and pickups and the dreaded skulls that inflict random nasty things onto your character
