Original Boulderdash music

Post by Martijn »

Hello,

I got the original Boulderdash I and II music! I converted it to Mp3 and changed some little things.
I sent an e-mail to info@artsoft.org about this! I hope Holger will include it, not because the music is spectacular, but because it's so... classic!

I also converted the BD & BDII music from SID to MIDI,

You will find them both in BD2K3...

Of course I don't like midi, because it depends on what kind of midi card you have. These are mp3 and better.

I don't see it...
But maybe it can be set as standard (just like supaplex) to boulderdash levels.

btw: bd2k3 is great!

Aah...that's why there hasn't been much downloads registred on those files, they are directly linked.
Well, that's fine with me. But keep in mind that you often need to rename the files you download from such direct links.

Anyways, seems nice. I just hope there isn't any important copyright on those files...

Pretty darn nice. Too bad they have the fade out at the end, but hopefully that shouldn't be too hard to fix.

Oh, I made that fade out myself... there's also a fade in... but I can remove it if it disturbs you!

It's not disturbing, just not that great for in-game music to fade in and out every couple repeats.

Yer it's "BD2K3_J4.wav" for the original tune,if you couldn't find it.
and "BD2K3_000 Retro Intro.mid" for the midi tune that starts as BD, then cross fades into a modern version!

Funny really, does anybody have music enabled when playing R&Ds?

A bit of trivia, the music in bd2k3 (i'm sick of typing that name), was all done in the same key, to be in tune with the laser walls
