More levels and some missed things

In the last weeks I used the internet archive to have a look for missing levels and other things for RnD. Maybe it's interesting for someone to have a look to the old websites. Some buttons there are clickable, some very old things there are downloadabel. Try it by yourself, if you are interested. ... /FrontPage ... d-doc.html ... .de:80/rnd ... leber/RnD/

And here are some more Levels, I've found some years ago: a great SP-collection by Benjamin Dubovecky (Benko), his webpage is not longer avaiable.
Aditionally some old collections from the Rnd-Forum:
The Earth Shaker Collection contains 1 levelset more than at the downloadpage.
bd4 contains 8 BD-Levelsets by various authors. And bds - Boulder Dash Sim by Peter Liepa.

There are more levels etc., but needs a lot of time to sort all for uploading here.
Have fun!

Here: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=2345 filbo has listed which files are missing and here: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2033 Martijn himself searches for level sets for his site. Some of them are actually no longer available, not even in the internet archive, or can no longer be downloaded. Some things I have already put on this page: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2291
Everything that I still have in my own files or find in internet archives, I will upload here bit by bit. Maybe these old files and everything you can find under the links are interesting for some of you.
Here you can find and download e.g. the earlier versions of rnd_jue:*/*
(click "MIME TYPE" and you can see the various versions. Version 5 is not downloadaible.)

Mini Game contains various old nice sets

Fun fact: Holger actually has all R'n'D Jue versions in the "Index of /RELEASES" from 3.2.5 to Just sayin' :P

Eizzoux you're right, your link leads to all versions of the games themselves and their further development. I have formulated it wrong - my links lead to the development phases of the individual level packages by J.Bonhagen, which can be integrated into the game Rocks´n´Diamonds. Some of them have other names and are not as complete as in the game RnD_Jue.
Version 8 of these level packages is still available for download ... -released/ for the earlier packages 7 and 6 I put the link in (just click on the blue marked date) and version 5 is, as I wrote, no longer downloadable.

Under this link ... you can find and download the missing version 3.1.0 of RoNDi PocketPC and PalmOS.
On the internet I found the following 3 level packages from Num Kirby alias cuddlesnam with nice graphics, but you can also download them yourself from his site. ... -726211406

And here is a missing Boulderdash package (bd_2, bd_16, bd_xbd), which I downloaded from Martijn's site many years ago and which is there no longer downloadable.

Martijn has always taken the Rnd levels found on his site from the RnD archive of Zomis. That means, most of the non downloadable levels like contributions 2005 can be found as originals in other archives like those of Holger ,in the level package of RoNDi, in the RnD Corner of Flumminator (the links are above).

Here ... monds.html you can find the old homepage of Sasche Muecke (only in german), but you can't download anything. (Maybe interesting for one or the other.)

This link ... leads to the Rnd Archive of Zomis. A few original files were still downloadable and I put them here. Since I still have different levels in my own RnD packages that I downloaded from Zomis' pages many years ago (e.g. missed „A.Siekierkas's Showcase“) and many levels that Martijn unfortunately didn't integrate into his page, these pages are especially interesting for me, so that I can assign the levels exactly before posting them in the forum. (But this will take some time, because I have to check every single level.)
Zomis' pages are in any case selectable, if you select them according to categories etc.. And if it doesn't work, just change the year at the top.

And here ... /rnd/rndce is the documentation for Zomis' CE Scripter Beta 3, which can no longer be selected from Martijn's page.

Here ... you find the old homepage by HerzAusGold about his tool RnDTest.

Some years ago I downloaded 62 SP-Level (filename Supaplex.rar) from Mek (MekWeb), his page can no longer be called, but is stored in the WaybackMachine. You can learn more about him here ... (and you can also download other games there). If a page doesn't work, just press the blue arrow at the top right and choose another time.

In the last week I noticed that Diamond Caves 3 by Peter Elzner (diamond productions) is no longer available either. His pages were also archived with the WaybackMachine and are here ... /games/dc3 accessible. There you can download the demo version, the level packages, some solutions and other stuff. If a download doesn't work, just press the blue arrow to the right or left and change the date. Levels developed after 2010, you can’t download. (I have all levels, because I've downloaded them in 2012.)
Depending on the date you will find different demo versions. I don't know if you can still register for a paid version. I myself use an older demo version, where I can make all existing levels visible in the editor and save them as bitmap. (Only playing the levels doesn't work, you need a registration key) The editor displays all necessary information about the individual levels. (Interesting for anyone who wants to rebuild these levels for RnD) And if you have additional solution packages (not included in the demo), you can play them. (I contacted a DC3 user last year, I had his email from his level packages and although they were built years ago, his email address still exists and he sent me all solutions of his really hard levels. So I could see how all elements work. But as I have already written here viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2632 my technical understanding is not sufficient to program the CE's according.)

Here ... lex-levels you can find (unfortunately only) 1 SP level by Daniel Rabinovich, more SP-levels are here: and here:
Here viewtopic.php?f=23&t=300 3 solutions by Bojster, Flumminator and Marek for the puzzle "8 Nuts" were posted in the forum, but they are no longer downloadable there, I found them in the internet archives (for all who are interested).
Level 001 is the missed CE-Example "A.Siekierkas Showcase", which is no longer downloadable on Martijn´s page. 2 more files by Adrian Siekierka contain RnD levels from 2005. The 4th file might be interesting for programmers?

"Mario Sprites" was designed 2004 by Martijn for Rnd and has the ID 375 in Zomis´ Files Archive and was uploaded there on 18.08.2005.
"Plex-doom" contains 14 SP levels and was created by Patryk1303 (P98). In Zomis´ Rnd-Files-Archive this set has the Files-ID 721 and was uploaded there on 19.08.2008.
Since I only played RnD from version 3.3.xx and didn't know the previous versions, I also didn't know that in some of them in the "Contributions" there are 100 levels by Holger from the year 2000, which I upload here today (for all of you who didn't know that either).
And for those who don't download RnD_Jue by Juergen Bonhagen themselves, here is an additional Sokoban package included in the game installation.

I wish all fans of RnD a Merry Christmas. :P

David Tritscher created experimental versions with "rnd" and "jue" for Emerald Mine level many years ago, which were first placed in Zomis' archives, but later moved to the Emerald Mine page.

2013 I found an Emerald Mine level from Engelmacher (Michael Engelke).

"Yam-Yam Problem" by m&m are 4 levels + tapes that I downloaded in 2010 or 2012, when Zomis' Files Archive worked again for a short time. They were uploaded there in 2007-08-10 and have the file ID 671.

"Movebug" by Francesco are 2 CE-levels (examples), which were uploaded 2006-01-24 into Zomis' Files Archive with the File-ID 415.

"rnd_niko" is a previous version of its level in Contributions 2004, but contains 2 levels less and some levels have different names, but are identical.

"Master Rocks" with 7 levels by Francesco is the previous version of Master Rocks, also called Master Rocks II and has the file ID 423 in Zomis' FA (2006-01-31) [Master Rocks II has the file ID 474 contains 8 levels and is still downloadable on Martijn’s BD-site].

"Random Level" by David Hutchinson (Darkon) is one of the "missing" CE-Levels (Examples), which can also no longer be downloaded from Martijn's site. In Zomis' FA it has the file ID 110 with date 2004-03-27.

I wish everyone all the best for the new year :D

For all of you who, like me at the beginning of my RnD time, don't know what the RnD element "Game of life" is about, here is a link to the original site of the developer: ... /life.html
Another link leads to Dave Peck (Infotron-Levels): ... /software/

"Source" by Zomis is a RND Scripter Source for Lazarus. I downloaded this file 2012 from Zomis' archive. The file ID is 629 (date 20.01.2007)

"bomb bugs" by Sascha Muecke has the file ID 511, date 08.06.2006 and RnD-World-Challange by Sascha Muecke (also Staufenbiel) has the file ID 696 (date 06.11.2007).
tape 003 is the original solution tape of Sascha Muecke named "Mr. B's grove" from his set "Sandstein" and has in Zomis' archive the file ID 712 (date 19.04.2008). Level 80 (file ID 236, 19.02.2006) and Level 087 (file ID 439, 20.02.2006) I downloaded 2012 as single levels from Zomis archive, but they are also included in contributions_2006.

"More single level" again contains some levels I found in my collections and a short description by me.
I will continue to search all my folders in the future to see if I can find more. But this will take months, because I want to create an overview of all RnD levels before.

And for all who are interested:
From Zomis' Files Archive (on the Internet Archive pages) I made copies of everything I could find and for a better overview I also created an excel-file (without comments) in which I arranged everything according to the file-ID. I'm still working with Office 2000 and don't know if you can read these files. But if you have an Office program, you can do it in any case.

For what it's worth, here is my implementation of the Game of Life, from 1985, written to run on MS-DOS -- which will run directly in your browser via DOSBOX running under JavaScript (really!):

There are plenty of more sophisticated implementations now. I happen to think mine is an interesting relic :)

I'm not wholly sure if people are aware of this existing. Only because it never got updated on the official channels in 2003. But someone out a project of "supaplex-levels" in Github and I bumped into it during a scouring in hopes I would actually find my finished project. However, I have an update pending for this set, which boils the question - I would like to import these levels to the R'n'D Supaplex engine. Until then, I'm posting the 2003 version of SPLVLS10, which of course detaches the old Level 70 "Through the Pipes" by Jussi Sipola.

And in case you all are just caught up and wondering -- yeah, 16 years is a long time. I'm the real deal. It's awful not having 'net for a few years...

Cheers from PA, USA.
