Zomis - thanks for the help / links - probably will not be able to get to them for awhile. Want me to upload the revised (the ones i should have sent in) anyway and you convert them?

Jannick - congrats - I thought the location of them would makee a good challlenge! Tell me how to send in a tape (for that matter - even make one - told you I was a novice!) and I can do it (soon, hopefully - always rushed - this is why i normally can only spend a few minutes here and there for R&D levels - but it is addicting!).

Got to run!

Oh well! :-O

bojster also reported this, but I was only able to reproduce this once or twice while testing a lot of times... :-(

After fixing a bug in tape appending some versions ago, I thought it would work now, but apparently it doesn't. I will check this all again and try to fix it, finally!

E-mail me the new levels and I'll see what I can do.

You can find the tape files in your personal RnD folder.
It should be something like:

C:\documents and settings\username\My Documents\Rocks'n'Diamonds\tapes\Lee's Levels\005.tape (Windows)
or
C:\Users\username\Documents\Rocks'n'Diamonds\tapes\Lee's Levels\005.tape (Mac OSX)

Here's my tape (backup your tape to 005.tape.bak and copy my tape there, to play it in tape recorder): 005.tape

It's still the broken one, but you can see at least the first 5 minutes. I'm too lazy to play it all again ...

A working tape would show this:
I tried to continue the tape before taking the red and 2 green emeralds, and then let the red bomb fall without destroying the butterfly and keep it locked in there with the second green emerald to smash it with the rock via conveyor belt.
I smashed the last butterfly with the rock without destroying existing gems.
I blew up the wall right of the acid to reach the bugs from top to get more emeralds from them.
I destroyed the first yamyam on spot and lured the second to the nut triangle and killed it there with the last shield to have more rocks and emeralds for the magic wall.
I cracked all but one nuts and let them all fall through the magic wall.
With the last rock I smashed the third yamyam near the magic wall to get most of the resulting rocks for the magic wall. 8)

I like these levels - they are challenging but easy enough for me to get somewhere in the level.

Thanks - I have been working on these since last year and added more. I am up to 42 levels (had to be 42). Currently I know a lot more than when I last posted to the forum - but I am digging deeper before I post anything els.
