Do you believe that a story makes a level set much more interesting?

Level Sets with Stories - More Interesting?
The H. World levelset can be downloaded from http://www.bd-fans.com/RnD.html -- search The H. World on that page.
I voted 'a little'. Because it depends. In Boulder Dash Dream, my own levelset, it's strictly necessary. Without story, I would also have to remove the menu background and the brown side panel. And the mysterious music and the blowing wind in the menu would also be superfluous.
But Andreas Buschbeck's levelsets are an example of levels without a story. And I think they are great.
What I like most, is as it is now. Just some variation between levelsets. One levelset has a story, another hasn't. That is the best, in my opinion.
