changing the resolution

Post by jolan »

Hi,

I'm using the SDL backend and only have the capability for a 640x480 screen. Rocks & Diamonds seems to hardcoded to use more than that as I can walk off the screen without the level scrolling down and the sidebar is missing about a quarter of its width.

Is there any way to change the resolution used by the SDL backend?

Thanks,

- Jolan

Hi Jolan,
If you want to change resolution, try out Res 'n' Diamonds, a reslolution program by Alan Bond.
You can find it here. Look for "Extra Utilities".
Hope that helps you! ;)

That's right -- a 640x480 resolution is not sufficient for running R'n'D.

If this is your physical resolution, then there's no solution to this problem, I'm afraid. :-(
