Indeed it looks suspiciously similar to your artwork... It's a shame people think that when something's GPL'ed (though I'm not sure if your levelset is), they can just take it and use it without any consideration... or do they even care about the license at all?
Actually it's just a matter of putting your name on the game screen - it only says "coding: one guy, music: another one", as if the gfx came by itself...
I also couldn't find any e-mail, only their homepage. However, if you type either guy's name in google, there are a few results, some of them containing e-mails. I'm just not sure if the right people come up then...

I don't think it's the same guy who wrote the VB book, as BeeDee dash is poorly coded (98% wtf?). I had a look through his site, and could find no email there either (It's not even protected)

I noticed Holger's fonts have also been ripped off....

Oh and here's a funny one, Not only had he pintched a few graphics, but he also blatantly took some BD2K3 sound FX to! (hell,he might as well)

But.... I embedded my name into all the sounds I made myself. So if you open one up and do the info on it, it says "by Alan Bond".

I feel angry FOR you Alan!

I mean sure, he used your graphics, but what annoys me is that he gives absolutely NO CREDIT AT ALL

I like the way he added a slight blur effect onto the rocks and the walls, and changed the colours of the enemys so he could pretend he made them

It makes me wonder where he stole those diamonds from

The character sprites just dont fit in with any of the other game sprites at all!


Im gonna ask my ISP if they can somehow give me the e-mail address of the user, since he has the same ISP

Well Darkon, you truly are a net detective!

I emailed Mr Hamilton, and got a reply in under 20 minutes!
He seemed pretty sincere and apologetic, and apparently was "given" the graphics from somebody else. (hummmmm)

He also says he will give me credit in his next build of BeeDeedash.

Time will tell.

Did you also mention about the sounds? Or just the graphics?

If he does plan on giving credit, you should maybe let him use the player sprites too.

Yeah I did...maybe seeing my name in the WAVs made him respond so quickly.

As for 3D Rockford, I wouldn't want him in any other game! But since he had all the frames for him anyway, it makes me think he tried to put him into BeeDeeDash, and failed..... (the boulders don't even animate remember)
