No, Rocks'n'Diamonds can also be played over a network, if you have two or more computers available.
The H. World levelset can be downloaded from http://www.bd-fans.com/RnD.html -- search The H. World on that page.

No, network multi-player games (over LAN and Internet) are possible since version 0.9.0! :-)
The only problem is that it's still only available via command line options yet, so I didn't mention it too much until there's a clickable interface ready for the Mac and Windows folk. (It still works on these system, too, but you have to start it from the command line.)
I think there's a detailed description how to use it in the R'n'D Wiki or here in the forum...

bought me a faster computer about 5 weeks ago... (I think...)

computers (Dad's and my computer) or you have to type a command about that?
