Do you think, 3.2.0 is *really* better than 3.1.2?

It's definitely better! But I'm still waiting for those EMC levelsets. So for me there is no real difference at the moment. As I'm not a very active CE level creator (yes, I hope to learn more about it later, when I've finished the biggest things of the TODO list of my site...), for me it's waiting for those levels to see the new Emerald Mine engine working! And I'm also very curious about the title screens! :D

(Actually, I tested only 3.2.0-8, but AFAIK they aren't very different.)

It's definitely better. It can do a ton of new and useful things, including EMC engine, CE values, change actions, title screens etc. As it is backwards compatible with 3.1.2, the only thing that's "worse" than in 3.1.2 is that now the settings pages are much more complicated than in 3.1.2. (But that doesn't bother me much personally, because I know what most things mean, because I watched talk about them in forums.)

Well, the more 'complicated' it is, the more comprehensive it is! So this is only an advantage!
Come on, RnD 3.2.0 is just great! Better than all its prequels. The only missing thing are the levels yet, but that doesn't mean that the game is worse, we just have to wait for that!

A little remark: Nobody is forced to upgrade R'n'D to 3.2.0! If you think that 3.1.2 is better for you (or 2.0.0, or whatever version), just use that version instead of 3.2.0. :-)

I hope to release that huge EMC level collection as soon as possible! (And when I say "huge", I mean "really huge" -- the extracted size on disk of that collection will be nearly 300 Megabytes, with over 50.000 levels! So we will probably soon need a "best of" selection of that whole set, as many people won't be able or willing to download such a large archive file...)

Heh... looks like RNDDB could get something to do... if I decide to include EMC level format support, which I probably won't do...

Speaking of RNDDB, I really like 3.2.0 and the new "micro chunks", those will help in the future of tool creation! So 3.2.0 is definetely better than 3.1.2...

Who voted for "Some things are better, some things are worse"?
Such a vote should need some argumentation ;)
Personally, I voted "Yes": I just can't stand that I've got so little spare time to practice with the new "toys" ;)
Anyway, by the way, have fun!

I vote YES...

Why?
1. The new EMC levels will be coming soon when Holger uploads them all.
2. For my brother Alex to make levels.
3. New options on CEs
4. The new features and bugs fixed (not completely)...

I vote NO ... because no mouse support...

Of course - 3.2.0 is better!
... like the "used elements" in the editor...
And the answer is ... 42 !
