The time zone is shown only for you. So this post maybe is showed as 6:22 am for you, but it's shown as 2:22 pm for me. It's like that with all posts. This post should probably be displayed as 8:31 pm for me, but something completely different for you.

(Typing around 12:14)

So your saying that the time zone of my posts that you saw is a different
time, the altered time that I placed is -7 hours, Pacific time of the place. :?

But do I have to change it back to the original time in the forums?
(+1 hours :? )

No, I don't think you have to change your time at all. Just keep the time set to your local timezone.

I think that your timezone setting only affects the time you'll see. So for example, this post will be shown as 10:07 am for you, but I myself is writing this at 6:06 pm, my local time, GMT+01 i think...
It's hard to explain, but I hope you understand me. The point is, keep the setting so that your own posting time is correct.

Changing the local time setting shouldn't affect posting at all. Each post should be recorded with the time it is received by the forum's host, and then "translated" according to each local setting - doesn't matter whether it is correct or not.
