Well, isn't this great? Alan's great levelset is starting to spread in the world, it's become a trilogy of books

What...? You don't think they're inspired by Alan's levelset? Of course they must be, where else would they get that name from? ;)

And by the way... I've heard that the three "The Lord of the Rings"-movies has also become a trilogy of books...:D

ermmm....ok :? Calm down Simon.

Well, I was certain at the time that the word Netwars has been used for lots of things, since it's such a common type of name, like space wars!! (never heard of the book Netwars btw)

I'm not really sure what your getting at here.........

Here's a chess game called NetWars..

And then the stupid thing is, that I don't have Netwars yet... it's the only levelset I'm still missing... and therefore it isn't listed on my site either...

Where could I download it? Thanks in advance!

I wouldn't bother, not only is it unfinished but the players start too far away from each other......making it unplayable.

For some reason I thought each player could wander around. I didn't realise they had to share the same screen......which is totally mad considering it's net play. :?

Is this really true?! :-O

I haven't played over network for a very long time, but I was sure that this limitation is only true for local team-play (on the same computer/screen), but not for network play, where every player should be able to move completely independent from the other players.

It seems that I have to check this... :-o

Ahh no, I think I've misread Zomis' quote on his site........

I honestly haven't tested this online at all (nobody will play with me  )......... but to quote Zomis:-
Seems good for multiplayer network mode, but for multiplayer on local computer it's impossible, since the players don't start near each other. Interesting weapons though, too bad I don't know how they work in real fights.
I have read this before, but I never took it all in . Well Zomis.... Of course it won't work locally since RND doesn't have split screen mode....

Hence the name Netwars! (that's net as in INTERNET and wars as in WARS :P ) Lol you gave it a 7 because it doesn't work offline :-) ....it was never intended to be played that way!
