All kind of puzzle games for me. Fortunately, there's plenty of them for Linux :-)

Puzzle hallelujah :)

Action are games like Counter-Strike etc. often FPS games ("First Person Shooter", is also short for "Frames Per Second" though)
Simulation are games most often starting with Theme or Sim- where you play against some kind of rules to earn money, attract guest etc. (Theme Hospital, Theme Park, Simcity, Simtower, Railroad Tycoon, Rollercoaster Tycoon, etc.)

Thanks for help people.

I choose action, like Alan made these long BD2K3 levels, like that one, where only 1 boulder is.

Yeah, strategy is good too ! Alan, do you know a game, where you must have strategy (so like commanding units) and ego-shoting ? I know some: Battlezone I and II. There you can personally kill enemies and command and build structures... though, nobody is playing with that more, it is getting too old.

Indeed, you forgot to add the catagory "Strategy". That would be my favorite, although I sometimes like games which are in a entirely different catagory then the ones I prefer.
And Alan, you are right, Dune II simply rocks! :)

I *think* you just edit your post, but that probably only works if nobody's voted yet.

Yes you can, even if someone already voted on it.
By editing the first post in a thread, you can edit the poll.
I just edited it for you (added Strategy games)
Note that editing the order can't be done, since the votes remain even if the 2nd option is called "Action" or "Puzzle". (Just said this to avoid such mixing ups in the future)
