Well done indeed -- some of them are just incredible! :-o

Honestly: Did you use some software to create them (regardless of being ready-to-use software or written by yourself) that uses help from a dictionary? (I know that there is such software out there...)

Or did you just purely made them up in your mind (maybe using Scrabble tiles as a little help)? :-)

If the latter: I honestly admire your linguistic creativity then! *wow* :-o :-o :-)

Yeah, things you do when you're bored - and late in the night...

Ok. It's not so smooth, but it's just a ten minutes' work...

I was about to put it in my signature, but it's already hassling enough, being just here ;)
Anyway, by the way, have fun!

Artsoft Entertainment:

Star of ten in treatment (only a few letters changed places!)
Fat, rotten tennis tamer
Tonnes-fat mint treater
Front mitten ant-eaters

Too bad none of these make sense... :-D

Flumminator:

[edit] oh crap, I didn't notice you came up with this one as well! I'll try another one:
Film tour man

Alan Martin Bond:

:-D

I really like such anagrams!

I should find my Grandma's old Scrabble game to also create some... :-)

(Maybe some genius here can make a CE level that automatically creates random anagrams... just kidding! ;-) )

What about this:

Code: Select all

Tens of treatment, in tar
;)

Oh, well, I miss an "s", anyway...

Too coincidental again! I took part in a lot of nightly "graffitti" incursions, here and there in my town ;)
Anyway, by the way, have fun!

It's not really needed (unless you want to treat it as an excuse ;p), here's what I do:
I put the 'original' string in this box and start making up words right below it. As I use some letter in the anagram, I remove it from the original string; when I decide to erase some letter, I put it back in the string. It might not be super-comfortable, but I don't have any scrabble pieces with me and I don't want to use any automation, and, well, it does the job. ;-)

You got me! ;-)

No, I just think this would be the most comfortable way to play around with letters (at least for me). I also thought about the "electronic" way to to it (just like you described it), but at least for me it seems to be a bit counter-intuitive... :o)

But nevertheless, I like the results posted here so far!

(Maybe I should go to work by train instead of by car, to have some free time for nice little games like anagrams... :) )
