Away for another week...

Post by Zomis »

Going back to Taizé, France again on Sunday and I'll be there for a week.
When I come home, I hope I will have enough time to improve the RNDFA and RNDDB with all improvements mentioned in the forum and in my head and on my todo-list. I will also see if I can find a solution for getting RNDFA and RNDDB to interact in some nice way...

I hope no spam or something comes up on RNDFA while I'm gone, hopefully it doesn't. And if it does maybe someone else could get rid of it.

So, see ya in a week... :)

I wish the same to you -- enjoy your time in France! :-)

Just wrote about those DOOM cheats in my last mail... Am I right that this one was the cheat that lets you look through walls?! Can't remember them all anymore... :-)

(I liked 'idkfa' every now and then, but please don't tell anybody... Oops! ;-) )

Iieek! Now I recognise your avatar!! (Unknowingly thought about it while writing the above lines...) That's the poor child from that Wolfenstein style hidden level in DOOM2, or am I dreaming? (If so, it's a nightmare... :-o )

Have to play that all-time favourite classic again... and again... 8-)

Then it was DOOM (not DOOM2)... And I never knew that this was the hero of another ID game... Cool. :-)

I've gone Doom nuts recently.....
(I liked 'idkfa' every now and then, but please don't tell anybody... Oops! ;-) )
Good memory! I didn't think anybody would know (You dirty little cheat!) ;-)
I do the old pispop just before I exit (if I don't have 100% secrets)

Playing Doom made me realise I'm slightly weird, I just can't exit
the level if I know there's some survivors left... ALAN MUST KILL EVERYTHING

BTW Keen is from Doom2, it has something to do with Apogee,3Drealms
and id software splitting.....some in-house joke?

*Edit*

I changed my avatar because nobody noticed my last one :D It was the usual "missing image" red X, but it changed to RND elements very slowly, oh well!

I noticed it! It might have been nicer, though, if it would have changed more often. Maybe every 10 seconds instead of every 20 seconds. :)
The H. World levelset can be downloaded from http://www.bd-fans.com/RnD.html -- search The H. World on that page.

Well this thread got interestingly off topic :)
Anyways, I'm back now. Let's see what I must do now...

Sorry, but I won't write you a diary... I'll only write one in Swedish... and I won't translate it. Anyways, I had a nice time and met a couple of new friends. Especially some people from Lithuania, never met anyone from there before... especially not girls named "christmas tree" (in Lithuanian of course, "Egle") :D
